obtain feedback on ODE report file naming
conventions; and an opportunity for DAsites to provide feedback to ODE personnel
on ways to improve the distribution of ODE reports;
ODE report design; and to find out more information on
the standardization of EMIS reporting including aggregations, submission and
report distribution procedures.
DASL Demonstration and Plans on the
Horizon

A presentation on DASL development and functionality of
the DASL administrative system. Overview of the product, style sheets, and
features as the package relates to both local and state reporting needs of the
district.

FY04 EMIS Changes

This is a panel discussion with ODE personnel to
provide an update on EMIS changes that have changed
since the close of the official FY2004 EMIS change
process due to adjustment in federal rules/guidance, passage of
state legislation/rules, or changes to ODE policy. We will cover the
district/building record changes, course reporting, and highly qualified
teacher/paraprofessional reporting requirements.
Assessment and

This will be a panel discussion with ODE policy/program
staff and EMIS personnel to ask any question about the
Ohio accountability system and assessment, as well as
EMIS reporting requirements for the coming year.
Please ask questions early, as ODE depends upon the knowledge base of the DAsite
personnel with experience in EMIS reporting and
knowledge of activities and questions of districts to
assist in foreseeing data policy questions that may
arise in the coming year.
